Kristen Marsh, RN
My name is Kristen, like all humans I have been a caretaker/receiver for all of my life. I was first formally introduced to this concept at the age of eight, when my grandmother was put on Hospice. I watched on as skilled caregivers answered the call to use their knowledge, humility, and love to help a stranger pass away with dignity and her family at her side. These Caretakers empowered me as a young child with the knowledge that my little hands mattered and my smile was a special form of medication that was just as important anything a doctor could have prescribed. Since then I have had the privilege of caring for thousands of people and their loved ones as they journey the sometimes rough seas of giving and receiving care.
